Lakhpat Gurudwara
Lakhpat Gurudwara sahib is a Gurudwara , a place of worship for Sikhs , located in Lakhpat of Kutch district , Gujarat. Lakhpat Gurudwara also known as Gurudwara pehli patshahi . Gurudwara pehli patshani means " Gurudwara of the first master ". Guru Nanak on his way to Mecca stayed over in the town during his second (1506-1513) and fourth (1519-1521) missionary journey called Udasis . This Gurudwara have his relics like wooden footware and palkhis as well as manuscript and marketings of two important heads of Udasi sect. Now it is maintained by local sikhs community and Gurudwara Shri Guru Nanak Singh sahib of Gandhidham. In old times , Lakhpat was part of Sind (now in Pakistan), Lakhpat used to be a rich rice growing area and was also a popular port .
