Kashi Vishwanath Temple

                                            

                      

           Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the most famous Hindu temples of load Shiva. The temple stands on the holy river Ganga , and is one of the twelve Jyortilingas of Shiva temples. Vishwanath means  "Ruler Of  The Universe ". The temple has been referred to in Hindu scriptures for a very long time as a central part of worship in the Shiva philosophy. It  has been destroyed and re-constructed a number of times in history. Since 1983 , the temple has been managed by the government of Uttar Pradesh.

                   


         The Kashi Vishwanath temple is widely recognized as one of the most important places of worship in the Hindu religion. A visit to the temple and a bath in the river Ganges is one of many methods believed to lead one on a path to Moksha. Thus, Hindus from all over the world try to visit the place at least once in their lifetime.There is popular belief that Shiva himself blows the mantra of salvation into the ears of people who die naturally at the vishwanath temple.

        Many other small temple in kashi vishwanath such as Kaalbhairav , Vishnu , Virupaksh Gauri , Avimuktesh wara and Vinayaka. As per the belief of Hindus religion its a ritual of paying debt to ancestors that brings salvation , it is also believed that no work can be successfully performed without blessings of ancestors and offering pind daan invokes blessings of the dead ancestors with the ritual offered ancestors also called  ' Pitar '  as per our ancient texts , the screed and current ending of this ritual promote the soul to get moksha very easily.

            The ritual of pind daan ancestor's pooja are performing at Varanasi (Kashi), Allahabad and any other specified place promote the soul of the deceased  in attaining liberation. Many people visit Kashi Vishwanath temple for Karma-Kand , Shradh & PindDaan , Nav-Grah Shanti pooja , Mangal Santi pooja , Vinayak Santi pooja , Ashti Visarjan etc.
