Gurudwara Nanakwadi Sahib

                                                   


                          Gurudwara Nanakwadi is a wonderful Sikh shrine located in the heart of Vadodara city that marks the remembrance of guru nanak sahib. It has become a crucial landmark during this region. This wonderful sikh shrine is equally denoted with other names like Gurudwara vahri or Nanak wadi. It is said that the religionist cum preacher or sikhism. Guru nanak dev had received this place in 1515 and it had been inbuilt his memory.

                                             


                               As the first guru of sikhism has visited this place , it become a crucial center of sikhism. This was were the primary sikh guru , guru Nanak Devji and his companion shri Mardanaji stopped and spent a while here in 1515-17 , after leaving Baruch. Gurudwara Guru Nanakwadi has been built to preserve the memory of this visit by the founding father of sikhism. The single room that to preserve the memory of his visit has today grown into an enormous gurudwara.

                                          



                          Uniqueness of gurudwara nanakwadi is in its exemplary architecture that always seek the eye of devotes and visitors alike. Beautiful structure of this gurudwara is just too much impressive within the entire vadodara city area. It has been alive since 1917 , so the gurudwara has been renovated several times.

Rani Sipri's Mosque

                                                                        Rani sipri's mosque is located in Ahmadabad , Gujarat. This mosque is built in 1514 by Queen sipri , the Hindu wife of Mahmud Begda , a sultan who ruled Gujarat. It is also known as masjid-e-nagina ( jewel of mosque )  because of the intricate jali carvings on its walls. The queen commissioned this mosque in 1514 when her husband executed their son for some misdemeanor. After her death , the queen was buried in this mosque.
