Maa Chandraghanta

                                                


                              On the third day of navratri Chandraghanta is worshiped and adored. At the head of this goddess is a bell shaped crescent moon. So that day are known as moonshine. This goddess is believe to have ten arms. Which is equipped with different weapons.

                                   


                                 It is believed that worshiped this form of the goddess brings supernatural peace to the mind. And this leads to the attainment of the suprim welfare not only in this world but also in the hereafter. Chandraghanta temple is located in Varanasi.

Rani Sipri's Mosque

                                                                        Rani sipri's mosque is located in Ahmadabad , Gujarat. This mosque is built in 1514 by Queen sipri , the Hindu wife of Mahmud Begda , a sultan who ruled Gujarat. It is also known as masjid-e-nagina ( jewel of mosque )  because of the intricate jali carvings on its walls. The queen commissioned this mosque in 1514 when her husband executed their son for some misdemeanor. After her death , the queen was buried in this mosque.
